Blood sugar

The blood sugar (also referred to as glucose) is collected by use of a blood sugar measuring device. The result of the analysis of a tiny drop of blood is the value in mg/dl (milligram per decilitre blood).

myVitali informs about current and historic values and calculates average values as well. In the overview of averages also the minimum and maximum values per day are shown. Because a good average value can be caused by variations in low and high ranges.

These variations - which are very unhealthy for the body - are made transparent and help doctors and users to improve the situation and thereby the quality of live through appropriate measures.
