Blood sugar

Blood sugar (also referred to as glucose) is the amount of sugar in the blood. It is measured by means of special device for collecting tiny drops of blood. Glucose levels are given in units of  mg/dl (milligram per decilitre of blood).

myVitali keeps track of current and past values and calculates average values as well. In the overview, minimum and maximum values per day are shown. Levels tend to fluctuate during the day and are normally lowest in the morning.

Blood sugar levels outside the normal range may be an indicator of a medical condition. Strong variations are made transparent and help doctors and users to improve the situation by taking appropriate measures and thereby increase quality of life.
