Widnau (CH)/Munich/Hannover, 1 March 2011. Telemedicine is driving the medical device industry and is also one of the top issues on the CeBIT, which opened today. To accompany this, myVitali presents its mobile eHealth solution. It provides the fully automated detection and analysis of vital data on the basis of WeTab. At booth D14/3 in hall 19 the visitors can get information about myVitali and test the system. For example how data will be detected after blood pressure measurement and be interpreted by the virtual online coach 'Vitali'. „The WeTab as an innovative tablet computer is a perfect complement to our system”, explains Oliver J. Wolff, CEO of myVitali AG from Widnau/Switzerland. So the cooperation with the WeTab GmbH from Munich/Germany will be continued after the joint presence in Hannover.

Telemonitoring or eHealth are among this year's fair trends. „Therefore the CeBIT is an ideal opportunity to present our product”, states Wolff. The visitors can test it and see the benefits of the system as well as the simplicity of its handling. myVitali provides the fully automated detections and analysis of vital data. Unlike the classic preventive and therapeutic methods myVitali motivates the user to actively and effectively take care of his health. The virtual coach “Vitali” explains the current and historical values and supports the user with amusing, although medically competent advices. The user's doctor and contact persons can be integrated into the system: in case of exceeding pre-defined limits, they are automatically informed. The touch-screen environment of the WeTab allows a simple and intuitive use – without any computer education.

Whether to visualize data or communicate by video broadcast. „The WeTab as an open system is simply made for myVitali”, explains Wolff and terms the mobility because of the 3G network as an further advantage. Moreover myVitali as well as WeTab focus on a touchscreen operation, which allows a simple and intuitive use. For all ages – and with a great fun factor.
