Usability

With myVitali the „design for all“ approach is followed consequently: the user interface to a great extent becomes accessible intuitively and must work for seniors and users without computer experience as well.  For that reason we continuously conduct user tests, their results flow into the further development.

Design

Special attention was directed to the intuitive interaction concept and design. Regarding the design, especially the need for good readability through a bigger font and more contrast was taken into account. Beyond that we don‘t work with the usual computer metaphors that people without experience don‘t know. The interaction is limited to the most important elements in order to prevent a too high complexity.

Wording and terms

Also regarding phrasing the understanding is to the fore - the meaning of values and the necessary measures should be comprehensible for people without any medicinal experience as well.

Hardware

As terminal devices TV sets, PCs or touchscreens can be used among others. This accounts for the different needs and skills of the hegerogenous target groups.
